Here at Naz Maritime, we provide statutory training for officers and ratings. We monitor the effectiveness of the training provided by means of appraisal reports and on board performance and subsequently identify crew training requirements. Training on board ships may also be arranged on the request of our clients.

CBT

A comprehensive computer based training program to upgrade the knowledge and proficiency of our crew, in a proactive and positive way, is offered to our seafarers. This training is imparted both while ashore and on board ships.

We also follow a methodology of training, whereby crewmembers ashore have the benefit of accessing our training programs from their hometowns and at their convenience.

CES

Our Online Crew Evaluation System uses qualitative and quantitative measures to analyze the progress of our seafarers. Thus identifying the need for further training.

Rank specific Trade tests are also carried out at our company appointed workshops, prior to employment.

STCW TRAINING

Today, regulation in Maritime transport is internationalized, standardizing mandatory requirements worldwide. We ensure that our crewmembers are in possession of the required STCW training certification. This is, in keeping with the latest Maritime regulations applicable, for the capacity in which the candidate will be employed on board.

NON-STATUTORY TRAINING

To cater to our clients needs, we design company specific courses imparting highly skilled training. The crew thus acquires personal, tangible techniques. This knowledge is implemented resourcefully while serving in professional positions.

ON BOARD TRAINING

On Board Training has been created for the purpose of educating our sailors with hands-on practical experience. This helps to bridge the gap between ship and shore improving safety and performance.

NMS organizes training workshops to enlighten crewmembers on medical first aid, trauma life support and basic life support.

Demonstrating CPR techniques and the use of Automated External Defibrillators, in compliance with the American Heart Association guidelines.
